Patagonian Rug - Wool
Crafted in the Metri area, on the shores of the tempestuous Seno del Reloncaví. It has been handcrafted by artisan Sandra M. using a Mapuche loom, combed and spun with natural wool.
This rug has been coloured with natural pigments, plant material, and cochineal to achieve the red hue.
Crafted with Chilote stitch. Its finishing requires several days of work on the loom.
This rug is 100% Wool and 100% handmade in the Chilean Patagonia.
The Rug has end flaps to hold the stitching on each end of the Rug. When setting up your Rug, fold those flaps in (see last picture for reference).

These instructions are for this specific product only. This product is made out of wool and the instructions below apply to this material and this product only:
- You can hand-wash this product
- You can focus on removing one stain and not wash the entire rug. Use Baby liquid soap and a sponge. Use cold water.
- Use cold water only
- Use mild detergent only, we recommend using a detergent made for washing baby clothing.
- Let the product soak in a bowl of cold water with a mild detergent for a couple of hours. Then wash away the detergent with cold water.
- Allow drying out in open air over a flat surface
- You can put the Rug inside a tightly closed sheet to tumble-dry (very low setting) to get the excess water out. The sheet has to be tightly closed around the Rug so it doesn't move around. Otherwise, it will lose its shape.
- Do not hang the Rug or it will lose its shape
- Do not use products to wash rugs, these products have chemicals that will damage the Rug
- Do not machine wash
- Do not dry-clean, it will shrink
- Do not use bleach or use chlorine
- Do not iron
- Do not squeeze or use a spin-drier
